IT Generalist

Based in Macomb, MI, Triumph employs approximately 300 personnel. The Company's key products and services include manufacturing, test and assembly of complete transmission and gearbox assemblies as well as complex gears and housing. Our design engineering group can specify and design any gear application, from simple build-to-print to collaboratively engineered, highly specialize applications.
We are currently seeking an IT Generalist who will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, and partners.
Manages system servers and other system components including installation, configuration, maintenance, security and troubleshooting
Troubleshoot network problems or systems failure involving hardware and software to determine the causes and possible solutions
Provide timely system support to all departments ensuring efficient and accurate information flow throughout the organization
Researches, plans, and oversees systems replacements and upgrades
Maintains documentation of the systems
Establishes and maintains contact with vendors for support and problem resolution

5+ years IT experience
Background supporting Windows Servers 2008/12
Background supporting Windows 7 or higher
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
Strong technical knowledge of Cisco Networking components
Experience in system administration
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical and computer related problems
Strong background In desktop support
Good customer service internal/external
Excellent time management skills are essential

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
