Manufacturing Offload / Sub - Contract Manager

Responsibilities Full responsibility and management of subcontracting / offload projects to ascertain schedules, costs, quality, and success across multiple platforms. Engages in the evaluation of supplier production capabilities as well as supplier capacity evaluations. Includes periodic constraint and risk evaluation and assessments. Included provisions for identifying restraints and bottlenecks with product flow and offer solutions and recommendations to TGS and suppliers for improvements. Facilitates the flow of materials, products, and in process processing to and from work cells and suppliers / sub-tier suppliers. Ensures verification of materials through processes parts or finished goods are compliant with specifications and standards as required.  Ability to work across multiple venues with both internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure on time delivery. Requires comprehensive understanding of overall manufacturing processes and procedures, an ability to interpret specifications and contracts, an understanding of objective evidence as well as possess strong oral and written communication skills for presentations and potential executive level briefings. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Engineering required - plus a minimum of 5 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated critical thinking / problem solving abilities Able to multi-task several critical assignments at both time and ability to work both independently and within a team structure Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Power Point, Word, Excel) Desired Skills: Aerospace industry background and working knowledge of frozen process plans is highly preferred Be empowered to work independently to pursue resolving problems Strong interpersonal skills with ability to coordinate with various disciplines Quick leaner who enjoys working challenging tasks Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers, and other external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functional organizations Knowledge or understanding of an MRP/ERP system Procurement or Acquisition Experience Knowledge or Familiarity with AS process and procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and First Article requirements 16155

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
